VeriFone PINpads support a variety of key management
techniques, including Master/Session and/or Derived Unique Key Per Transaction
(DUKPT). VeriFone also offers PINpad+ products that are fully compliant with
the PIN-entry-device (PED) specifications jointly issued by VISA and MasterCard.
PINpad 2000 product is a counter device that supports both Master/Session key management
and DUKPT. The PINpad also provides a magnetic-stripe reader for customer-activated debit transactions.
The S8 Pin Pad supports two key management options, has master-working key and derived unique key per transactions (DUKPT).
Compatible with most T7 terminals, impact-resistant construction and a completely sealed housing.
The entire micro-processor program code is contained in a single micro-controller chip for added security and the
micro-switch detects tampering.
